A size adjustment buckle allows BabyBjörn’s carrier to grow with baby—from as early as 8 pounds and at least 21 inches (about one week old) to a maximum weight of 25 pounds. Newborns first face inward using the adjustable head support to keep them stable, while older babies face outward with the head support folded down in front of them. The unique design allows the front piece to be easily removed so as not to wake a sound sleeping baby when taking off the carrier. The material is machine-washable cotton and the carrier comes in a variety of colors.

My husband (6′ 1″) insisted on the Baby Bjoern with the extra-long straps. I am happy to report that it is magnificent, even for short people! (I’m only 5′ 3″.) It converts to fit either one of us quickly and easily and I have always felt that our son was snug and secure inside.
